Utah: Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2018. Before running for Senate Romney was the 2012 Republican nominee for President of the United States, though he was defeated by Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election. During his time in Senate, Romney has served on the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and the Committee on the Budget.

While approval polls on Romney are mixed, it seems as though his numbers have remained consistent since he took office. Unlike some other political figures, Romney has also seemingly avoided the news this 2022 midterm cycle as he hasn’t spoken out too much on the election.

  1. Next election is a lifetime away, politically speaking of course. There’s a chance Pennsylvania will have a special election when they realize that Fetterman is a radically brain flawed progressive that just happened to have had a stroke rather than the other way around. The only thing protecting him now is there’s no 25th amendment for Senators as proved by the Senate’s History with barely living members in the past.
