Texas: Ted Cruz
Ted Cruz was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012, where he has served Texas for the past nine years. Before he was elected to serve as a U.S. Senator Cruz served as Solicitor General for Texas. He also ran for the Republican Party nomination for president in 2016, though suspended his presidential campaign when he lost to Donald Trump in the Indiana Republican primary. He is passionate about fighting for limited government, economic growth, and national security.
Currently, Cruz has been in the news following the 2022 midterms and discussing his anger for the loss Republicans saw during the election. He has also spoken out against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and the way he handled certain midterm campaigns.
Next election is a lifetime away, politically speaking of course. There’s a chance Pennsylvania will have a special election when they realize that Fetterman is a radically brain flawed progressive that just happened to have had a stroke rather than the other way around. The only thing protecting him now is there’s no 25th amendment for Senators as proved by the Senate’s History with barely living members in the past.
