45th President Donald J. Trump is still on schedule to announce his third candidacy for the presidency next Tuesday despite many races still not being called yet for the 2022 midterms that happened Tuesday. Under the watch of Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), the GOP failed to confidently secure the U.S. House or Senate, which will result, at best, in a razor-thin majority in one or both houses of Congress. Trump seeks to be the antidote to the Republican Party’s woes. The 45th President, who has a record of winning elections, could be the saving grace for the GOP in 2024.

Newsmax reports:

NBC News’ Marc Caputo tweeted Thursday: “A senior Trump adviser just confirmed Tues announcement,” adding the adviser said “the media, the corporate elites, and political establishment has all moved in unison against Donald Trump at their own peril. It’s like they want to recreate 2015-2016. Let them. We are doing it again. Buckle up.”

On the campaign trail before the midterms, Trump teased audiences about his intentions to run in 2024. There was speculation he was going to reveal his decision on Nov. 7 at an Ohio rally for Senate candidate J.D. Vance, who defeated Democrat Tim Ryan, but Trump told Newsmax last week he did not want to take the spotlight away from Republican efforts in the midterms.

“I just felt maybe it was better off doing it where it’s by itself a little bit, and it’s just a few days — actually one week, exactly one week later from Election Day,” he said. “We’re going to make a … statement that people are going to be very happy about.”

But Republicans did not get the red wave they were expecting, and Trump’s standing with the party was affected, especially after the resounding success of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was reelected in a landslide.

Trump told Fox News Digital after Election Day that the elections, which he endorsed, were a “tremendous success,” questioning, “Why would anything change?”

  1. Then whats with his name calling DeSantis & now Youngkin?
    Whats wrong here
Fine to attack media, RINOs, Dems, celebs NOT allies IF true like Desantis

  2. In the words of Kenny Rogers…Donald Trump needs to needs to know when fold and walk away. I Voted for you twice, I will not Vote for you a third time. Please exit the stage and let Ron Desantis take over from here, I’m sure he’ll do you proud.

  3. Trump needs to hang it up. He’s like a fashion model who has aged out of the business of modeling. He’s a poison pill to the Republican party.

  4. I don’t think Donald Trump is good for the Republican party!! He is focused on the PAST!! Claiming, without EVIDENCE, that the 2020 election was stolen. Breaking his OATH OF OFFICE to defend the CONSTITUTION against all enemies foreign [he praises Putin and takes the word of a known liar over the USA intelligence services] and domestic! While he has done some good things the MAGA Republicans are a MINORITY and they aren’t a large enough minority to force their views/actions on the American people without the support of independents that DEMAND EVIDENCE!

  5. If Trump announces his running before Dec. 6th runoff, he will cause us to totally loose the Senate. We will be done with him. He needs to step aside right now for the good of the country. All his rallies caused the red wave to fizzle. It’s not all about him. His primary picks did well but a lot lost in the general election. That should tell you something.

  6. The RED WAVE happened.
…but as Stalin said “It is not who votes that count. It is who counts the votes who count.”

    NO CONFIDENCE IN BALLOT COUNTING!
