President Joe Biden is reportedly now set to unveil his administrations tough new line on gun control, with a particular focus on so-called ‘ghost guns.’

The incoming regulation is expected to crack down on unserialized, privately-made firearms, according to the AP.
“I want to rein in the proliferation of so-called ‘ghost guns.’ These are guns that are homemade, built from a kit that include the directions on how to finish the firearm. You can go buy the kit. They have no serial numbers, so when they show up at a crime scene, they can’t be traced,” Biden said in an April 2021 speech.

In the proposal, released in May 2021, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) also sought to require manufacturers and dealers distributing ghost gun parts to be federally licensed, as well as for licensed firearms dealers to add serial numbers to all unserialized guns they plan on selling, according to the AP. Background checks would also be required for the sale of kits containing parts necessary in the assembly of firearms, the outlet also noted.
…Biden is also expected to announce the nomination of Obama-era U.S. Attorney Steve Dettlebach as the director of the ATF. His previous nominee for the post, gun control advocate David Chipman, was withdrawn from consideration after a lack of bipartisan support stalled his nomination for several months.
Biden cannot do away with the Second Amendment, but the Second Amendment give us the Right to do away with Biden!

Aw, Jeez, here we go again!. (don’t know why the underlining) What part of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” does he find ambiguous? He is on his way to creating the exact circumstances that the Second Amendment was created for. – – – – – for which the Second Amendment was created.
Apparently, Joe Biden doesn’t understand that the Second Amendment, like all the others, is FEDERAL LAW, and way, way beyond his ability to just give an order and change it. Want proof? Go read the Preamble of the Constitution, paying particular attention to the last part. Then, go to any dictionary, or as many as you want, and read the definitions of the words “ordain” and establish” They are not suggestions, and are not within his power to amend, remove, or make ANY changes. Tough noogies, Joe, it takes a Constitutional Convention to make that kind of a change, with an OVERWHELMING majority in favor. And you ain’t got that kind of backing. Sorry, Joe, but “Shall not be infringed” is clear enough for even you to understand.(And the rest of this country understands it, too.)
