Doesn’t matter what they do. It will be settled by the State’s Supreme Courts. Pelosi is going and there is nothing to stop that from happening. She is long overdue to get out of Congress. She is a criminal at best.
I think the States should let computers draw the Districts; Congress should mandate it. Input the State border, population by precinct, borders not to cross (such as lakes), maybe some other factors, number of districts, and have the computer draw Districts as compact as possible. No regard to race, Party strength or any other such factor.
I wish AAN showed the maps. Some of the District boundaries are pathetically ridiculous. And gerrymandering might be unconstitutional. Clever lawyering could maintain that gerrymandering abridges votes on account of race or sex.
