The Details: The proposed policy changes seek to ease the path of foreign STEM students studying and working in the U.S.
The new policies have long been called for by Silicon Valley tech giants who benefit from the cheap labor provided by the foreign students.
One of the biggest changes will be an expansion of the disciplines that will qualify foreign students to stay and work in the United States while retaining their student Visas.
During the past five years, enrollment of foreign students in US universities has declined significantly.

This guy turns everything he touches into S_ _ t. Everyone knows that the student Visa system has been abused. Students overseas often are paying others to take their placement exams. Given an OK to come to the US where they NEVER show up at school, and disappear into the interior of the country. There are no requirements the colleges track or report foreign students who fail to show up. He wants to make it EASIER for them to enter the country??? Of course, to make the tech giants happy, who would prefer cheaper pay scale foreigners than hiring America, and prop up his Presidency. The price of no mean tweets: fewer employed Americans and more unaccounted for foreigners.

The entire family arrived together on a refugee basis. Even after the Russians warned us about them–Nobody in Govt. paid any attention until they blew up the Boston Marathon. Many moons ago when the U.S. Treasury Depatment handled Visas for foreign students and other visitors, things were handled differently. They were under penalty of expulsion if they did not report once a year and were required to have a Chest X-Ray once a year as T.B. was being brought into the USA by foreigners on visas. Now a days-no one even looks for them and they do not even know how many are in the USA or where they are or if they are self supporting, especially if they produce a crop of anchor babies and all live on welfare.
