A woman riding a commuter train in the outskirts of Philadelphia, PA became the victim of an unthinkable crime over the weekend.
A homeless man forced himself on her on the train all while other passengers watched and did nothing.
As The Hill reports:
Officials said that passengers failed to intervene when a woman was raped on a train close to Philadelphia, The New York Times reported.
Late Wednesday, a woman was approached by a man on a train who attempted to touch her several times. Despite the woman’s attempts to stop the man from inappropriately touching her, he ultimately took off her clothes and raped her, officials said.
The incident, which took place around 10 p.m., happened on a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) train on the Market-Frankford Line, a spokesperson for SEPTA told the Times.
…“I’m appalled by those who did nothing to help this woman,” Bernhardt told the newspaper. “Anybody that was on that train has to look in the mirror and ask why they didn’t intervene or why they didn’t do something.”

Had I been there, I would have un-holstered my .45 and placed it on the back of his neck and told him to roll over. But you see, that is Philadelphia, and being a law abiding citizen, albeit one still somewhat caring, I would not be carrying there. But I can only care so much though, as there obviously are no such legal self-constraints on the rapist, and who knows what he was carrying in the way of gun or knife. Like most of your political ilk, you only want the end to be safe for your ass, damned be the danger to the intervener, or the legal mechanisms that constrain them. And this is all while leaving the lawless free to act as they wish, with very little consequences to them if/when they are caught, which is also a liberal tenant. What you are witnessing in this act of depravity, is a microcosm display of what I, and many, many others, have previously stated about in “… only criminals will have guns”. You are blind to the reality of this. Your “fix”, if you “feeeeeeeel” one, I am willing to wager, will only make things worse, as have all liberal efforts to make “things safer”. And by the way, that “no guns” law is due to liberals voting Demoratic. Conservatives accept that there is no real safety in either, the way you lefties want it with “gun control”, or the way we want it, but we are willing to do safety for ourselves, rather than wait 27 stops for the state to intervene. Your “feelings” of a solution, on the other hand, would have to wait 27 stops, while people who are too afraid to act are filming your plight “as evidence”. And that, is where my commentary comes from, and it is drawn from the plain evidence. The liberal’s is interpreted from moonbeams, or some other such fantasy intangibles.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia and every since I was old enough to understand what was going on the Democrats/Leftists/Liberals/Socialists have spent most of their time destroying the city. Of course they are not completely alone in this, the People of Philadelphia as well as the state are responsible for electing these so called leaders. The way things are in the city today if someone actually got and and pulled the attacker off of the woman and caused him any injury that person woudl have been locked up for assault. Philadelphia’s motto is “The City of Brotherly Love,” that has long since been destroyed the Friends of the Biden Socialist Regime.
