New York state has canceled its June 23 presidential primary for the first time over the concerns posed by the Wuhan Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The decision by New York’s Board of Elections means Joe Biden will get all of the state’s 274 delegates.
The New York Post reports:
The Democratic members sitting on the state Board of Elections agreed to cancel the vote for a Democratic White House nominee, but primaries at the congressional and state levels will proceed as planned.
That compromise should create a lower-than-average voter turnout, reducing crowding to protect both voters and poll workers, many of whom are elderly, said state Democratic Party chair Jay Jacobs.
“It makes sense,” said Jacobs of the call to cancel the vote. “We shouldn’t have non-essential primaries. There is only one candidate who is running.”
Jacobs was referring to former Vice President Joe Biden — the last man standing among a once-crowded field of Democratic challengers — after Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders waved the white flag while also lobbying to remain on the ballot in those states that hadn’t already held their primaries.
New York is the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in America, with New York City and its suburbs, the hardest hit.
Almost 17,000 people with the coronavirus have died in New York. A further 5,200 people in New York City who’ve perished are believed to have had the coronavirus. The continued lack of testing capacity means the real number may never be known.

You get to vote for one person, your representative. The PM appoints all other positions. So no normal “Citizen” can run for office. Great way they handle political expense accounts. Mike – Biden is made to order for the democrats. He is, as you say, a senile old man with corruption charges and sexual assault accusations following him. Perfect for what the democrats need to use him for. He won’t last in office for more than a month or so and then he will be “sadly and prayerfully” removed for “the good of the country” and replaced with the person the democrats have already chosen. The problem with the replacement is he/she could never have won so they are going to let him come in through the back door as Biden’s replacement. And Biden, being the muddled old fool he is, is probably never going to know what happened. They’ll whisk him off to a “home” somewhere, give him a fake microphone, a TV set full of pre-recorded speeches (his, of course) and old CNN news films and let him live happily ever after until he dies. He will still be available to be paraded out now and then when absolutely necessary but only for a few minutes to let his adoring fans cheer him on. Far fetched you say? Maybe so. You need to read the US Constitution. When a bill is passed by both houses of Congress and sent to the President his options are sign the bill into law or veto it. Therefore, the President cannot use a line-item veto. I realize there are exceptions – the pocket veto – but for this discussion that is a moot point.
He already has the power. It’s called VETO.

Take some time to read up on California? Like the “Subduction” of the Central Valley. The water table levels. How farmers get water for their crops. Also the damage caused by the land sinking. Democrats will do anything to shut down America just to control it’s citizens. This virus is not any worse than every new flu virus or pneumonia virus that kills many people every year. Not so simple. The CDC has ordered that if someone dies and they have the virus, the virus is to be listed as cause of death. So, if one steps out in front of a bus and is hit and killed and is tested (which I believe all deaths are) and shown to have the virus, the virus is listed as cause of death, not the massive injuries caused by the bus. It’s all a big sham.
My sister died last month from lung cancers had been terminal for over a year. Now her democrat husband is trying to tell the family she died from cv19. When I press him on it he just says that is what her doctor told him. She was dying back in January just hanging on in a coma for 2 1/2 month before she died.

I just heard San Francisco, where i live will extend the shutdown – shelter at home through May that’s been in place since March 16th. Right now I’m so livid I could chew nails, it’s evident the idiots running the place don’t have a workable plan in place to reopen things in a safe and cautions way and and are ‘making it up as they go along’. Now we’re told it’ll be 4 more weeks. People are at the end of their patience, many are broke and can’t get their unemployment or relief checks. Businesses are closed indefinitely and many employees won’t have jobs to return to, and the liberals, ‘pigliosi and her minions sit on their worthless asses and add concessions to the relief bill thus stalling things but as can be expected, most of us, the ones wide awake and paying attention know by their inactions, they could care less about America or the American people. They’re only out to get rid of Donald Trump, a legally elected president. Hopefully this crisis has a silver lining – that this is the last straw and people are so fed up with their BULLS**T and it gets them of their butts on election day to vote out all these anti American thieves and liars.
