President Joe Biden’s White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy said the quiet part out loud, telling CNN liberal “Green New Deal” policies aren’t just a way to appease Communist China’s dictatorship, but are inspired by a notorious Communist Chinese policy that killed an estimated 55 million people.
Responding to a reasonable question from host Alyson Camerota as to why Americans should support “green” policies when most atmospheric pollution comes from Communist China, McCarthy claimed without evidence that Beijing’s leaders would agree to downsize their own economy if Americans agreed to crippling taxes and controls on U.S. employers.
“We have to have every country step forward. We lost a lot of ground, a lot of credibility with the prior administration,” answered McCarthy, falsely blaming former President Donald Trump for Chinese pollution.

“We will continue to negotiate with China and get them back into program,” McCarthy then claimed without evidence or examples of past success.
“We have to have something big,” McCarthy then said, “We have to take a big leap forward…this is the only way to get China back to the table.”
“Big leap forward” is eerily similar to “Great Leap Forward,” a 1958 social and economic program by Communist Chinese dictator Mao Zedong.
Much like how Biden’s climate plan was pitched, the “Great Leap Forward” was promoted as a way to modernize China’s economy by moving away from privately-owned farms to government-owned-and-run “communes.”
Like how “green energy” is promoted without evidence as more efficient and modern, the “communes” were predicted to radically increase agricultural output by eliminating the “greed” of private companies.
Instead, the heavy government controls destroyed agricultural production, with as many as 55 million people estimated to have died in ensuing famines and mass recession.
Economists with the Heritage Foundation estimate that if fully adopted, the so-called “Green New Deal” would eliminate millions of jobs and reduce U.S. economic output by trillions of dollars.
