New York City Mayor Eric Adams warned the surging migrant crisis “will destroy” the city that now takes in over 10,000 migrants a month during a town hall meeting Wednesday night.
Adams said he has received “no support” for the growing migrant crisis that he predicted would impact “every community” and “every service” in the city during Wednesday’s town hall. New York City is projected to spend $12 billion over the course of three years to address the crisis as the the Big Apple has cared for over 100,000 migrants with more on the way.
“Never in my life have I had a problem that I didn’t see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this,” Adams said Wednesday. “This issue will destroy New York City. We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month. … people all over the globe have made their minds up that they’re going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City.”
“Every community in this city is going to be impacted. We have a $12 billion deficit that we’re going to have to cut – every service in this city is going to be impacted,” Adams said.
Adams had previously disagreed with Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul that migrants shouldn’t be transported out of the city and into state suburbs after Hochul rejected a request that would’ve allowed the city to do so. The Biden administration cast blame on Hochul and Adams and outlined methods to address the crisis in a letter sent in August after both leaders requested more federal aid.
Adams cast the blame back outward and warned New Yorkers that the crisis would “come to your neighborhoods” during Wednesday’s town hall.
“As you asked me a question about migrants, tell me what role you played. How many of you organized to stop what they’re doing to us? How many of you were part of the movement to say, ‘We’re seeing what this mayor is trying to do and they’re destroying New York City,’” Adams asked. “It’s gonna come to your neighborhoods. All of us are going to be impacted by this.”
“The city we knew, we’re about to lose,” Adams said.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Your Democratic Party has destroyed your city! Rampant violence, theft and drugs! And yes the migrants now too. Look around Mayor Adams! Your left wing cronies have brought this all down upon your heads, as well as on the rest of us. Our country is a mess thanks to the likes of you and your party. Ah too bad. NYC declared themselves a sanctuary city. Why? because the border problem was a thousand plus miles away and they didn’t think they would have to deal with it (as long as they didn’t see it, there was no problem). Now, the illegals have devastated their city, and NYC is crying woe is me. – and yet they are still a sanctuary city. A self inflicted wound NYC. There is no pity.
The border crisis has affected America for many years. Trump put a lid on it that was promptly removed by Biden with the suppot of Adams and most democratic mayors and governors and supporters.
Texas has suffered with this problem more than any other state. The results of the problem far transcend money–drugs,gangs,sexslaves,prostitution-overcrowding schools and the dumbing of education are but the obvious reults;there are many more unintened, or perhaps,intended, consequences of Bidens and the democrats ridiculous policies.
It is about time that the mayor of NEW YORK opened his eyes–too bad more democrats don’t do the same.

How many of America’s enemies would love to be able to take her down and humble her. But all they can do in amazement is watch as Joe Biden does it for them. No outside country could do so much harm to our country but they sure can enjoy this self-inflicted damage from the sidelines.
