Migrants Unloaded at VP Kamala Harris’ DC Residence
Once again, Fox News reports that Texas Governor Greg Abbott once again draws attention to the border crisis, making it impossible for Vice President and border Czar Kamala Harris to ignore. Abbott sends a bus of migrants from Texas to the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., where Harris resides at Number One Observatory Circle. Videos show migrants disembarking and retrieving their belongings. This is not the first time Abbott has chosen this location; he did the same in December 2022. By repeating this strategic move, Abbott demands action from Harris and her administration, highlighting the urgency of the ongoing border situation.

Governor’s Letter to President Biden
In a letter to President Biden, Governor Abbott highlighted the challenges caused by open border policies and the detrimental impact on Texas residents. He expressed concerns about people being left in dangerous conditions during a polar vortex and emphasized the disproportionate burden faced by Texas due to these policies.
According to Fox News, Gov. Greg Abbott has written a letter to President Biden saying that the impact of his open border politics “leave many people in the bitter, dangerous cold as a polar vortex moves into Texas.”
Abbott also added that “Texas has borne a lopsided burden caused by your open border policies.”
Promise to Continue Sending Buses
As Title 42 was set to expire, Governor Abbott spoke with Fox News and pledged to continue sending buses of migrants to liberal northern cities like New York and Chicago. Governor Greg Abbott has no intentions on stopping any time soon, as he said in an interview with Fox News, telling the network:
“There will be more coming,” adding, “There will be more going to New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, and other places across the country.”
The majority of these cities, led by left-wing governors and mayors, have long expressed their support for open borders and immigration. However, their viewpoints were often detached from the reality of the situation as they were geographically distant from the border. Consequently, they did not experience the direct impact of large influxes of immigrants flooding their cities.
Now, with the effects of this migration surge becoming apparent, many Democratic governors and mayors find themselves regretting their past decisions. They are compelled to declare states of emergency and urgently call upon President Biden to take decisive action to address the border crisis. The consequences of their previous stances have brought about a newfound sense of urgency and the recognition that immediate measures are necessary to manage the situation effectively.
Operation Lone Star Stats
Governor Abbott shared statistics from Operation Lone Star, which underscored Texas’s efforts to protect communities. According to Fox News, these statistics included 373,000 apprehensions, 28,000 criminal arrests, the seizure of 402 million lethal fentanyl doses, and the transport of over 17,600 migrants to sanctuary cities.
