Liberal Philadelphia has now witnessed three separate incidences of legally armed citizens shooting carjackers as they attempted to steal their cars as the crime continues to spiral out of control nationwide.
As Fox News reports:
A teenage attempted carjacker was shot and critically injured in Philadelphia after he allegedly tried to steal the vehicle of a legally armed driver, according to a local affiliate report.
Thursday marked the third time since the start of 2022 that an alleged carjacker was wounded by a legal gun owner, FOX 29 reported. According to local media, two attempted carjackers approached the 60-year-old driver around 8 p.m. local time on Cherokee Street in Mount Airy.

The man had been in the process of exiting his car when the young suspects pointed a firearm at his head and ordered him to hand over the car keys, the report states. But instead, the driver also brandished a gun and the groups exchanged fire.
One of the suspects was wounded, and the pair fled after more than a dozen shots were fired between both sides, FOX 29 reported. Police later caught up to the suspect three blocks away, where they found the would-be carjacker, 16, inside a stolen Jeep with a bleeding leg wound, police told the news station.
Police if Philadelphia have received 90 reports of carjackings in 2022 after only two weeks. In addition carjacking increased 34 percent between 2020 and 2021.

I do agree any weapon is better than none and in some close in encounters knives could be a better choice but using a gun can be a very hard task for people who relly don’t want to hurt anyone (and we all know that any hesitation caan be deadly for the person who is trying to defend themselves) a knife compounds that problem… just sayin

So how about this strategy? Most all children have a parent or perhaps two. How about if we change the laws so that if your minor child is convicted of a crime, the parents also spend some jail time. If they are employed then they spend their weekends in jail, if they’re not employed, they spend their days in jail. Eventually parents will learn they are responsible for the activities of their minor children.
Some kids are unstoppable in their horrible life choices. All you would see is more kids awarded to the state! We don’t have a draft, but any kid with a felony should be mandated to serve in the military.

I have said it at least a 100 times drive by shootings would also drop if legal gun owners would fire on drive by shooters also and anyone in the car, truck or whatever should have NO protection under the law. People should also be able to protect their business without fear of persecution and this crime would also be taken care of as they are useless animals!
