After draining billions of taxpayer dollars for military and humanitarian aid in Ukraine, many world leaders are now backing off the rhetoric that the country should continue to defend itself as Russia makes small but steady advances.
During a trip to Europe, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin publicly stated that the US desires a Ukrainian victory that leads to a weakened Russia. Biden reportedly said their remarks had gone too far and demanded they tone down their rhetoric, according to NBC News.
Officials in the US and Europe are increasingly concerned that Ukraine’s current trajectory is not sustainable.
Behind the scenes, they’re discussing whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should back down from his stance that no territory will be ceded to Russia as part of a peace agreement.
French President Emmanuel Macron, who has been an advocate for diplomacy since the invasion started, recently said that Zelensky “must” begin negotiating with Russia.
However, some Biden administration officials continue to insist American taxpayers are in it for the long run.
“We are not pressuring them to make concessions, as some Europeans are. We would never ask them to cede territory,” an anonymous official said. We are planning for a long war. We intend to prepare the American people for that, and we are prepared to ask Congress for more money.”

You would have said the same thing when Hitler took Czechoslovakia, same thing when he then took Poland, then Denmark and Norway, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. When would you change your mind? When they then took Holland? Maybe when they started bombing Great Britain. Or, maybe you want to wait until they knock on your door.
We can spend millions on Gay Pride and a Woke military. But don’t waste your money saving a sovereign nation or civilians being bombed into dust. What a WASTE!
We promised Ukraine that if they gave up their nukes, we would protect them from Russian invasion. Now we just walk away? Sure! Why not? An American promise means nothing… To some of us.

Biden has never actually helped Ukraine WIN. He wouldn’t OK Poland’s sending MiGs which would totally change things. Plus he delays effective missiles and other ordnance. The money he sends could end up who knows where! Why is Biden dragging things out and getting more civilians butchered?
This is so stupid, Ukraine has Russia on the ropes, if we give them the equipment that puts them on an equal war field, I believe that the Ukraine would win. The Ukrainian military have proven to be much better fighters, much better at artillery and rocket fire, and their pilots are even better than the Russians, but they don’t have the advanced equipment they need, like the Russians do.
I say give the Ukrainians everything they are asking for and let them win. If they don’t win, they will have weakened Russia so much that Russia will not be able to do this to anyone else for at least 25-30 years.
But if the Ukraine does win, the Russians will never be a threat to the western democracies again, and wouldn’t that be nice, especially when not risking one American military personnel, or any of NATO military personnel. The Ukrainians plan on winning it all themselves, if we just give them the equipment and armament that they need and let them do their thing.
Putin is trying to reestablish the old USSR, and Ukraine is a key part to that, but so is East Germany, Poland, and the Baltic states.
So, I say that If Germany doesn’t want to give the Ukraine what it is asking for and needs, and wants the Ukraine to give up much of their territory to appease Russia for peace, then we need to remove our military from Germany that is there to protect Germany from Russia.
If Russia attacks Germany, let Russia do to the German cities what they have done to the Ukraine cities, and then tell Germany when they give East Germany back to Russia in a trade for peace, then we’ll come back into Germany and from that point protect Germany from the Russians going any farther, just as Germany wants the Ukraine to do.
What is good for the Ukraine is also good for Germany, and France and Italy, and we need to make sure we have none of our military in those countries too, and move our military into Poland, because we are actually having to hold the Poles back from going into the Ukraine and helping the Ukrainians to defeat Russia.
Poland has lived under Russian rule before, and they never want to have to do that again, just as the Ukraine has, and why the Ukrainian people are fighting so hard against great odds, and they are winning, and probably will win if the cowards just give the Ukrainian people what they are asking for to defeat Russia, with their army only, and NATO doesn’t have to risk any of it’s military for the Ukrainian people to do this.

Actually, you are whether you like it or not. We all are. What happens in Ukraine is going to effect us all for a very long time. We can choose to win with Ukraine, or choose to lose with them. If we choose to lose, we deserve the consequences. You aren’t going to be happy with that in the ‘Long Run’.

I feel bad for the Ukrainian people. We are seeing and interacting more and more with them as some 6million flood into Poland and the Baltics. They were duped in 2014 by the great manipulator, G. Soros, and threw out their president. They elected an unknown, Zelensky, and did not check the fact that he was a millionaire Oligarch, which is the kind of person they wanted to rid themselves of. He at the urging of biden decided to aggravate Putin into a war. biden promised him full backing in exchange for all the millions Hunter was raking in whth the agreement Ukraine would insure corruption charges would be dropped against the biden Cabal. Soon after that, biden stiffed Ukraine again, and said he’d give him some weapons[only 10% ever appeared from biden]but no troops or air cover. Zelensky seeing he was on his own dismissed the parliament and all leaders making himself essentially Dictator of Ukraine. biden has put the US in another Afghanistan. We have no standing in this war, but Democrats will get rich die their holdings in the war machine makers. In the end, there will be a truce, and the Ukrainian people will fall back another 14 years with a smaller country that is now rubble and dead bodies. Plus, buiden will have bankrupted America.
