Businesses have been built off of AI chat programs in recent years. Now, the struggling search engine tool Bing may utilize ChatGPT, the leader in AI question-answering technology, and this can rework the entire market.

Currently, Google is investing billions into AI programs, however, Microsoft-owned Bing may just unopen the finished product of ChatGPT and utilize the technology in Bing.

This can allow the user to no longer have to move through endless links to websites, rather, the ever-improving world of AI can answer the question asked for you. The search engine that is able to break ground on AI question answering will have a serious edge in the search engine market.

OpenAI is a leading organization in the field of artificial intelligence research and development. They are focused on advancing the state of the art in AI, and have developed many innovative technologies and approaches in this field. AI can help with research by providing information on a wide range of topics, as well as assist with writing by generating text or suggesting words and phrases, and the tech tool can even help with translation by providing translations of words and phrases from one language to another.

It’s not hard to imagine a future where people pull out their phones and instead of running to Google to answer questions, then, having to click on links in order to find websites with the information available, they choose to use OpenAI or similar functions.

While it may seem like large parts of the internet are gushing over an AI tool because it’s new and shiny, they’re not alone. Even Google is trying to get with the times before they get left in the past. Axios reports that Google has started investing in its own AI technology, and the company pulled in $149 billion from its search business last year; more than half of total revenue.
