It was reported that in 2019 The National Enquirer, an alleged ally of President Donald Trump, had obtained damning photographs of Jeff Bezos, which resulted in a row between the publication and Bezos. Bezos claimed the National Enquirer was trying to “blackmail” him.
Of Bezos’ divorce, Trump said “it’s going to be a beauty,” which some have interpreted to refer to the National Enquirer’s dirt on Bezos.
