Friday, Elon Musk and his Twitter team have decided to reinstate the Twitter account of Dr. Jordan Peterson, a clinical psychologist, professor, and right-wing figure who has recently taken on a role at the Daily Wire.

After tweeting about Ellon Page, formally Elliot Page, a now transgender female who was originally born a male, Jordan Peterson was banned from Twitter on June 22, 2022. While many viewed the Tweet has transphobic, others viewed the banning of the Tweet as potentially a larger issue.
After receiving his ban on June 22, 2022, Jordan Peterson regained controlled of his account on August 26, 2022, with the one condition that he deletes the Tweet about Ellen Page. Peterson then deleted the initial Tweet in order to regain his account, then, decided to post a screenshot of the original Tweet with the included caption:

Since Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, Democrats have been concerned that right-wing figures such as Babylon Bee, Dr. Jordan Peterson, and former President Donald Trump would be allowed to regain their Twitter accounts with a large number of followers. So far, under the leadership of Elon Musk, we have been fewer bans handed to right-wing accounts, a handful of accounts being allowed to re-join Twitter, and, by the looks of how Elon is managing Twitter to this point, we can expect to see a roll-out with more right-wing figures allowed to re-join Twitter throughout the near future.

Not only did they spell Ellen incorrectly, they have Ellen/Elliot’s transition backwards. Female to male, not male to female.

Good. Any disputes about Peterson can be hashed out with free speech . Permanent bans don’t benefit free speech or allow the issues of the day to be discussed. The internet has too much propaganda and censorship going on. Which explains why communists and the woke are losing it now that censorship is being loosened.
