Despite incessant propaganda from the mainstream media, a new poll shows a majority of Americans not only support United States Supreme Court’s 2022 decision overturning Roe v. Wade, but that support has grown since the ruling.
The latest Rasmussen Reports poll, taken one year after the ruling that struck down a 1973 decision barring states from outlawing abortion, finds 52 percent of likely U.S. voters approve of the decision.
“One year after the Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, so that each state can now determine its own laws regarding abortion, a majority of voters approve the decision,” Rasmussen Reports reports.
That’s an increase from the 50 percent of likely voters who backed the decision in a June 2020 poll, taken four days after the landmark ruling.
More troubling for ruling liberals is that even political independents do not back their abortion radicalism.
“Voters not affiliated with either major party are more closely divided, with 51 percent approving the court’s decision returning abortion to states and 44 percent disapproving,” reports Breitbart, quoting the poll report.
Many see the result as a rebuke of the one-sided national reporting of the decision, and the non-stop year-long efforts by the media and ruling liberals to delegitimize both the decision and the Supreme Court itself.
The poll asked 1,051 likely U.S. voters “Last year, the Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, so that each state can now determine its own laws regarding abortion. Do you approve or disapprove of the court overturning Roe v. Wade?
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus three percent and was conducted June 25-27, 2023.
The 2022 poll, which surveyed 1,000 likely U.S. voters, was conducted June 26-27, 2022 with a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.
On the contrary – the majority of American do NOT support the overturning of Roe V Wade by our now criminal Supreme Court . This criminal decision is threatening the lives and health of women all over America ! Roe v Wade was not the beginning of abortion in America. It was the end of women DYING from illegal abortions .
There is now and always has been a simple solution to this abortion nonsense. The government has to determine when the fetus becomes a human being. Three weeks, six weeks, eight weeks, 16 weeks; once this is achieved the problem is solved because that makes the child a United States citizen and abortion or any other type of action that causes the child to lose his life must be considered as MURDER of the United States human being and falls under all rights and privileges and practices allowed all American citizens. Problem solved.
