NBC host Chuck Todd shocked many observers on Sunday during the broadcast of his show ‘Meet the Press’ when he falsely claimed that the second amendment ‘does not exist.’
As The Daily Wire reports:
“This current version of the Republican Party is being held hostage by a vocal minority obsessed with an absolute right that does not exist,” Todd said on his show on Sunday.
Todd went on an anti-gun, anti-GOP rant to open his show, following in the footsteps of liberals who blast anyone for offering “thoughts and prayers” after a shooting in Texas left 19 children and two adults dead.
“It’s become our uniquely American ritual of words after each episode of this uniquely American serial tragedy. Thoughts and prayers, nothing we can do,” Todd said. “No law would have stopped this. The real problem is mental illness. If only the victims had been armed. More thoughts and prayers.”

“How do we allow an 18-year-old, in this case, [the shooter], to buy assault rifles and accumulate more than 1,600 rounds of ammunition, all legally, mind you,” Todd said. “Whether it’s guns, or climate change, or protecting our democracy, we no longer have a politics that can meet these crucial moments that we face.”
Todd’s false statement occurred while he was interviewing far-left filmmaker Michael Moore who was advocating for the repeal of the second amendment.

They have armed guards and gates and fences and all of the accoutrements that the privileged have, and so they can pontificate all they want to about how it is not good that there are so many guns and that the Second Amendment is not valid, but they don’t live it, and they have no way to even understand it the way those that have to live it do. Sure, there is no Second Amendment, just as there is no FIRST Amendment. If you’ll read the Preamble, and then go look up the DEFINITIONS of the words “ordain” and “establish”, you might notice that they are clear, meaningful, and MEAN WHAT THEY SAY. You may also start to get mad that a bunch of power-hungry crooks want to cancel out, not only your rights, but the federal law that the Constitution is. They sit in comfortable chairs in luxurious offices, instead of on a bench in jail.
A liberal once told me that I was against gun control because I had a “sixth-grade-level education”.
I publicly gave him a lesson about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I was pleasantly surprised by how many people openly stated how my “sixth-grade-level education” had me far more informed about basic human rights, enshrined into law, that the liberal’s college education had done for him.
He has been strangely silent about the subject since then.
Chuck and Michael can repeal the 2nd easily enough: just get two-thirds of Congress and three-quarters of the states to go along. A cinch.
