Liberals Freaking out as Black gun Ownership Explodes

Gun sales among black men and women skyrocketed by nearly 60 percent in 2020, sending liberals into a panic.

New retailer data published by the Firearm Industry Trade Association, show gun sales to black customers grew 58.3 percent in 2020, faster than whites (51.9 percent,) Hispanics (49.4 percent), and Asians (42.9 percent.)s

“We had been seeing the market shift over time,” Mark Oliva, FITA Director of Public Affairs, tells WUSA 9 News. 

“It was looking less like me (a white man) and more like the rest of America,” says Oliva. “We’re seeing more African Americans, more Hispanics, more Asian Americans, and we’re seeing more women buy guns.”

2020’s increase in black gun sales comes after years of increasing sales to black customers and the creation of new gun clubs and gun rights organizations founded by black Americans, such as the National African-American Gun Association.

“Over the last year, major national events like the coronavirus pandemic and Black Lives Matter Demonstrations last summer have helped NAAGA recruit an average of 1,000 new members every month,” WUSA reports.

“I had very civil arguments with folks from about 2015 up until last year,” Philip Smith, founder and president of NAAGA, tells WUSA. “They say, ‘Hey, Phil. I respect you. You’re a good guy. The organization is a good organization, but I personally don’t believe in guns.'”

“Once COVID hit, that was the line in the sand,” says Smith. “You had to sit there and say, ‘Is there going to be a total breakdown of social order? Is there going to be food for my family? Will we have gas? Will everything crumble in our general society and will we literally have to fight people off?'”

Reaction among smug, uninformed liberals is the usual.  Some are reacting by patronizing black people by saying they don’t know what’s good for them while others naively, but confidently, believing the report will make white conservatives oppose gun ownership.

“Now that black Americans are getting guns, watch the gun reforms roll in,” tweeted @Numaest, ignoring the fact the reaction among Republicans has been universal praise.

“I saw the rate of black gun ownership is going up, so it’s only a matter of time before the Republicans start passing laws limiting gun ownership to only people who already own one,” wailed a clueless @antic5.

It’s almost as if they don’t want black people to own guns and are hoping someone will do their dirty work for them.
