Reagan went down in history as the man who nearly single-handedly ended the Cold War between the United States and the menacing Soviet Union. Reagan’s presidency saw a booming economy, and prosperity at all levels of American society. The once Hollywood Actor, was the son of a preacher and adopted his highly religious sentiments.
Reagan will always be known as a kind, charismatic, and bold soul who bore the title well: great communicator.
Reagan and the queen shared not only a strong friendship but a love of horseback riding. She visited Reagan’s ranch in California where the two enjoyed their shared passions together.
In 1983, Queen Elizabeth II visited California and other parts of the West Coast, meeting with President Ronald Reagan in Santa Barbara.
