Bill Clinton expanded the police force, saw crime dramatically fall under his leadership, and led the country through a period of general prosperity and peace. He converted the largest budget deficit in history into the largest surplus. Clinton met with the queen in 1994 to mark the anniversary of the D-Day invasion that marked the final moments of World War II.
