“Go Woke Go Broke” This conservative mantra has proven true in retail such as the Bud Light Scandal. It also proves true in state politics.  Wokeness has turned a deep blue state into a broke mess of unemployment.  And this state is giving unemployment money to illegal immigrants now that Title 42 has expired. Forget Americans, California eats their young.

Governor Newsome reported last week that California’s budget deficit grew to $32 billion which is approximately $10 billion more than what was estimated.  Now, there is a bill in California’s state legislature that would give laid-off illegal immigrants $300 per week for up to 20 weeks.

The Golden State is expected to receive a significant influx of illegal immigrants that will one day fall under the umbrella of SB 277. SB 277 includes the provisions for the amount owed to laid-off illegal immigrants. This bill will be advanced in California’s legislature this week.

California has a deep history of a high unemployment rate.  In October 2022, California’s unemployment rate climbed to 4.0%.  This is higher than the 3.6% national unemployment rate.  California can’t afford to give unemployment money to laid-off illegal immigrants.  Now that Title 42 has expired, they’re going to do just that.  The deep blue state will boast and even deeper deficit.

Just south of San Diego, roughly 15,000 migrants had gathered in Tijuana last week, filling hotels and shelters or sleeping outside in a makeshift camp while waiting for Title 42 to expire in the hopes of making it into the Golden State, The New York Times reported.

The state supports three migrant shelters, two in San Diego and one in Imperial County; two travel staging sites, one in Imperial and one in San Diego; and six temporary sheltering sites in Riverside County, Newsom’s office said. California also has invested $1 billion since 2019 and supported 350,000 migrants since April 2021 with temporary services and onward travel coordination, his office added. (Mercury News)
