A Democratic contender for governor in Florida, former Representative Gwen Graham embraced her inner-authoritarian after claiming that she figured out a way to ban assault rifles throughout the Sunshine State by decree, undermining the entire legislative process. (WJCT)
[Former U.S. Congresswoman Gwen] Graham pledged to ban assault weapons sales using obscure state law.
“I have found a public safety statute that allows the governor, whoever she may be, to sign an executive order for public safety reasons banning that sale of military-style assault weapons,” Graham said.
In other words, she plans to implement her anti-gun agenda by executive fiat, like a Queen.
Apparently, Graham is trying to emulate President Obama when he said he could govern with merely a phone and pen whenever Congress did not acquiesce to his demands.
Somehow liberals still consider President Trump a fascist dictator.
