Liberals might despise Donald Trump – but their 2016 presidential candidate is even more unpopular. Still.

According to the latest Gallup poll, Hillary Clinton’s favorable rating is now at her lowest ever. Just 36 percent of Americans have a favorable impression of the former Secretary of State.

By comparison, Donald Trump’s favorability is two points higher, at 38 percent, according to the RCP Average of polls.

Hillary’s numbers have plunged since the 2016 election, falling 5 points between June 2017 and December 2017. Usually, failed presidential candidates see their favorability numbers go up after losing an election, once the tension from a hotly-contested race simmers down.

But, unlike other candidates who stepped out of the limelight, Hillary has continued to make headlines – going on a high-profile book tour, making numerous media appearances, declaring herself the leader of the anti-Trump “Resistance,” and openly calling the 2016 election illegitimate. At the same time, she’s also been tarnished by allegations, namely from former DNC Chair Donna Brazile, that she helped rig the Democratic primary against an insurgent Bernie Sanders.
