During a hearing on the origins of the coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former National Institutes of Allergy & Infectious Diseases Director, attempted to defend himself against accusations made by Rep. Jim Jordan.

Jordan accused scientists of being influenced by a $9 million grant from the NIH to change their stance on the lab-leak hypothesis. Fauci dismissed the accusation as bizarre, claiming that he didn’t take a strong stance on either the natural-origin or lab-leak hypotheses, and that as more data emerged, it appeared more likely that the virus came from an animal reservoir.

Furthermore, Fauci responded to allegations made by former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield, who claimed that he was excluded from discussions about the virus due to his differing point of view. Fauci denied this, but offered no further explanation, leaving room for doubt about his honesty. It’s clear that Fauci is attempting to distance himself from any blame or responsibility for the handling of the coronavirus, despite his key role in advising the government’s response. His responses to Jordan and Redfield’s claims reveal a reluctance to be held accountable for any missteps or misjudgments in his handling of the pandemic.

During the hearing, Redfield said:

“I was quite upset as the CDC director that I was excluded, excluded from those discussions. Why would they do this? Because I had a different point of view and I was told they made a decision that they would keep this confidential until they came up with a single narrative.”

Dr. Fauci also criticized China’s response to the virus, stating that authorities “completely cleaned out the wet market” in Wuhan of “animals that should not have been there to begin with.” He suggested that the original SARS virus was of zoonotic origin and that China’s behavior may have contributed to the virus’s spread.

Jordan’s accusation of scientists receiving a multimillion-dollar bribe to change their minds was also dismissed by Fauci as “ludicrous.” He stated that it was typical of Jordan to make such claims.

During a hearing on the origins of coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci responded to Rep. Jim Jordan’s accusation of a multimillion-dollar “bribe” to change scientists’ minds by calling the claim “ludicrous of anybody who knows anything about the granting system [at] NIH.”

Although Fauci dismissed Jordan’s claim of a multimillion-dollar “bribe” to change scientists’ minds as “ludicrous” and typical of Jordan, he did not provide any further details to clear up the matter. This lack of clarification is reminiscent of when Fauci evaded questions surrounding the accusations that the NIH used Gain of Function research throughout 2020 and 2021, when Fauci previously implied that lawmakers, specifically including Rand Paul, did not understand the issue, and attempted to belittle their line of questioning.

In conclusion, Dr. Fauci defended himself against claims made by Jordan and Redfield during the hearing on coronavirus origins. He dismissed the accusation of a bribe and criticized China’s response to the virus. Fauci emphasized that as the data evolved, it became more evident that the virus was a natural occurrence from an animal reservoir.

  1. Dr. Fauci has profited immensely at the expense of every single American…not just financially , but more importantly, at the expense of Americans lives and overall well-being. If anyone deserves jail time over this catastrophe, it’s at least him.

  2. Now, I want to see the Fauci interview. These scientists clearly point to Fauci as not only a liar, but as the architect of a pandemic that ravaged the world’s economy. Not only did he commit murder, but he also committed treason. And every scientist who went along with him and all the politicians and media that backed him are also guilty of mass murder and treason. It is time for a trial like the Nuremberg trials. I suspect many countries (with the exception of China and its allies) are willing to jump into the fray. Most are seriously pissed off and rightly so.

  3. LISTEN UP….ANYONE who has ANYTHING to Do with the WUHAN LAB is Responsible for the Spread of the VIRUS. THEY have BLOOD on Their HANDS. From SamuraiQueen aka CHIAKIA. 😩😩😩😢😢😢😭😭😭

  4. When has anything Fraudci said have any relationship to the truth? He had one goal…. Make a virus and make money from it.
