Rep. Mike Coffman lost decisively in Denver’s rapidly-diversifying suburbs on Tuesday. With 96 percent of the vote counted, the incumbent Republican trails Democrat Jason Crow by 10 percent.
Coffman apparently didn’t like the president’s tone and worried he’d alienate independents.
Despite popular belief, candidates don’t need to win a narrow section of swing voters to prevail on Election Day.
The Left understands this. By sharing voter data acquired through hard work in large and more organized and individual ways they can now win elections without persuading independents.
Having President Trump campaign for you would’ve had a similar effect, Mike.
Maybe that’s why he had no sympathy after your loss.
