Maison DesChamps, 23, also known as “Pro-Life Spider-Man,” scaled the 40-story Chase Tower in Phoenix, Arizona, to raise money for a woman 22 weeks pregnant and partially disabled.
DesChamps has made a name for himself in recent years as he has successfully scaled the New York Times Building in Manhattan and the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
DesChamps scaled Chase tower, the tallest building in Phoenix, in an attempt to help Hope, a woman who is 22 weeks pregnant, partially disabled, and had an abortion scheduled for Friday, Feb 10th. DesChamps’ viral moment was done in an attempt to raise funds for the expecting mother, helping her to have a reason to cancel her abortion and have the ability to afford motherhood.
Frank Pavone took to Twitter, saying:

During his appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Champs said,

“I climb these buildings because I want to show people how to have faith over fear… Abortion is murder, and that’s the truth. Yet so many people my age are scared to speak the truth. They’re scared to offend. They’re scared to lose friends. But we can’t be scared. Abortion is just like climbing a skyscraper. It’s a matter of life or death. And we don’t have time for fear.”

Once DesChamps reached the top of the building, he was arrested by police on criminal trespassing and nuisance charges. Nonetheless, DesCahmps lived up to his name as “Pro-Life Spider-Man,” as he successfully free-climbed the nearly 500-foot tall building.
