Chaos erupted on Piers Morgan’s show Wednesday when journalist Wajahat Ali and conservative radio host Ben Ferguson clashed over Democrats’ “fascist” label for former President Donald Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris said that she agreed that Trump was a fascist at her CNN town hall on Oct. 23, sparking a media frenzy. Tensions escalated when Republicans and Trump faced backlash following comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s controversial joke at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday, where the comic compared Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage.”

On “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Ali defended the association of Trump with Hitler and fascism, while Ferguson attempted to interrupt, urging Ali to add context.

“When you start calling people Hitler, it’s in context. If you start talking about context — ” Ferguson said.

“Ben, don’t gish gallop. Ben, I’m about to kick your ass, don’t gish gallop, just listen to me. I listened to you,” Ali responded.

Ali then continued to state how Trump’s former aides have made allegations of the former president being comparable to Adolf Hitler.

“Yesterday when Donald Trump was confronted with — I’m glad you, Ben, and Pierce agreed that it was horrific disgusting comments against Puerto Rico, black people, against Jews, against Palestinians, against women. Which, by the way, have rallied Puerto Ricans all across America. You know what Donald Trump said? No big deal,” Ali said. “Yesterday, this past week, J.D. Vance said get over it — J.D. Vance, his vice president, is the one who called him Hitler. By the way, guess who said that Donald Trump praises Hitler?”

“Four-star General John Kelly. Just in the past two weeks, in the final two weeks of his campaign to unify America, you know what Donald Trump said?” Ali questioned. “That the people who are against him are enemy of the people — another Hitler line.”

Ali highlighted Harris’ Tuesday evening speech at the Ellipse, noting the strong support from thousands in attendance. However, Ferguson pushed back, arguing that “nothing” in the speech addressed what truly matters to voters, emphasizing their primary concerns: the economy, inflation and immigration.

“There’s nothing that was just talked about that matters to the people that are hurting and suffering in this country right now. Nothing that was just said there was unifying. Nothing that was just said there was about the concerns of people that are struggling in this country with inflation, with illegal immigration, with convicted terrorists coming across the border, with those that are convicted of murder and rape that are coming across the border,” Ferguson said.

“There is zero concern for the American people in your closing argument, and this is the reason why Donald Trump will win on election night,” Ferguson continued. “Because the only thing you can come out and say is if I disagree with you [say], ‘I’m gonna kick your ass.’ Which, by the way, goes back to what you guys do, ‘We don’t like you, lock you up. We imprison you. We put you in prison.’”

Following Tony Hinchcliffe’s comments at Trump’s rally, President Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as “garbage” in a Tuesday interview, later clarifying on Twitter that he was addressing their “rhetoric” after facing backlash. This incident follows Biden’s earlier remark calling for Trump to be “locked” up, which he also later clarified meant “politically” locked up.
