Markwayne Mullin

After a long 2022 election Republican Markwayne Mullin, a is set to assume his seat January 11th. His seat, previously filled by Jim Inhofe, was up for election after Inhofe resigned after only two years to spend time with family. Mullin is a member of the Cherokee Nation and  one of only four Native Americans in the 116th Congress. Before becoming a Senator he was a Representative in the U.S. House where he represented Oklahoma’s 2 District.
