Despite failing to keep liberal ideologues from manipulating investigations into dubious claims about the Trump campaign, fired FBI Director James Comey continues to insist that he’s a victim of President Trump’s petty vindictiveness and progressive ire for mishandling the Hillary Clinton investigation.
Whatever, Jimmy.
In a sanctimonious op-ed published in the Washington Post, Comey extrapolates on his hurt feelings, takes cheap shots at the president’s supporters, and describes the four stages of being personally attacked by the commander-in-chief.
I am not familiar with the diagnostic criteria for mental disorders, but this sounds like a cry for help, James.
Unsurprisingly, Comey fails to mention the “17 significant errors or omissions” in the FISA applications submitted by FBI agents to surveil members of the Trump campaign. He also ignores the portion of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report saying that the bureau’s leadership was motivated by the biased and uncorroborated Clinton campaign and DNC-funded Steele dossier.
