A man arrested outside President Trump’s Dallas rally appears to have armed and equipped himself for an attack.
Police are not releasing the man’s name, but he was found to be armed with a handgun. He was wearing an Infowars t-shirt, tactical helmet, vest, and kneepads. Inside his backpack, police found an aerosol can and a gas mask.
The man was taken to a hospital for observation, but no charges were filed. Police report he was licensed to carry the handgun.
It is unknown if he was a Trump supporter or an Antifa activist. Antifa has recently advised their violent attackers to wear clothing identified with Trump supporters in order to confuse law enforcement and the media.
