Retired U.S. Navy Commander David Fravor became a celebrity of sorts in December 2017 when infrared footage from his fighter squadron 13 years earlier became public.
It showed his fighter jet pursuing an unidentified flying object.
The first encounter first occurred in early November 2004, when radar operators from multiple ships in a Navy carrier strike group began tracking eight to 10 mysterious objects flying off of Southern California.
On November 14, 2004, the same unidentified radar signals appeared again. This time, two Super Hornets were in the vicinity, on a training exercise. Commander Fravor flew the first plane.
Fravor came across a radiant, white Tic Tac-shaped object, 40 feet long, with no windshield, no wings, no exhaust gas, and no apparent engine hovering over the ocean.
The UFO had reportedly descended from 28,000 feet to sea level in less than a second.
Even the most technically advanced aircraft in our arsenal couldn’t match its tremendous speed.
WATCH:
After a brief encounter, Commander Fravor reflected on his sighting: “I have no idea what I saw. It had no plumes, wings or rotors and outran our F-18s. But I want to fly one.”
Now, he’s speaking out in greater detail than ever before, revealing evidence of similar sightings by U.S. military personnel.
Per Hot Air:
One detail he revealed early in the interview while describing the Tic-Tac encounter was that his F/A-18F Super Hornet was not equipped with any live missiles. Dummy loads were installed because they were scheduled to go on a training mission. This would have presumably left him with nothing more than his 20 mm rotary cannon if things had gotten tense with the unidentified craft.
Another fascinating detail he included was that during multiple encounters with the Tic-Tacs on both coasts, pilots were able to determine that the objects were actively blocking their radar systems, making it impossible to get a lock on them. And we’re talking about one of the newest, best radar systems in the world. This is interesting because it at least implies an actively engaged, intelligent force controlling the Tic-Tacs. (Whether that’s local or remote, biological or AI-driven we don’t know.)
Fravor additionally revealed that government and military investigations into these incidents are far from over. He has personally been summoned to Washington multiple times this year for private, confidential meetings with “high ranking government officials.” (He wasn’t authorized to be any more specific than that.)
