Since its inception, the Women’s March has faced accusations of anti-Semitism from its leadership.
Zahra Billoo, a member of the leftist group’s board, was fired days after her appointment to replace three inaugural members jettisoned for their blatant racism.
The reason for Billo’s ouster? Her anti-Semitic and anti-U.S. military posts on social media.
Apparently, Billo didn’t get the memo that praising Louis Farrakhan and his ilk, as Bob Bland, Tamika Mallory, and Linda Sarsour did before their termination, wasn’t winning people over to their side.
Per the Daily Caller:
Billoo said in a lengthy 2017 Facebook post that she was boycotting the movie “Wonder Woman” because the main character served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), saying “I similarly would not watch a movie where the lead actor or actress were proud of their participation in the US military, ISIS, or Al Qaeda.”
Another Facebook post from Billoo said she didn’t see any difference between joining ISIS and the IDF.
Billoo announced her removal on Twitter and said that outrage over her appointment was motivated by Islamaphobia.
She remains defiant.
“This followed an Islamophobic smear campaign led by the usual antagonists, who have long targeted me, my colleagues, and anyone else who dares speak out in support of Palestinian human rights and the right to self-determination,” Billoo said of the backlash against her.
