“The Bachelorette” is one of the biggest shows on TV and contestant Luke Parker is one of its biggest ratings draws.

But Parker is also a born-again Christian and after portraying him as a villain for weeks he’s been booted off the hit ABC show.

Why?

He refused to accept star Hannah Brown’s convoluted explanation of how she can proudly have sex with multiple men on the show, without regret and still consider herself a Bible-believing Christian.

The confrontation started with Parker, who is saving sex for marriage, asked Brown, who he had been told was a traditional Christian, about rumors she had sex in a windmill with one of the other contestants.

Brown openly admitted to having sex with multiple men and grew furious when Parker reminded her that’s not in line with Biblical teaching.

Brown insists Jesus is fine with her having premarital sex with multiple men, and it’s Parker who is committing the sin of pride by publicly living a Christian life.

“I have had sex, and, like, Jesus still loves me,” Brown said. “Guess what? Sex might be a sin out of marriage, pride is a sin, too, and I feel like this is a pride thing. I feel like I’ve finally gotten clarity on you and I do not want you to be my husband.”

The show’s producers told Parker that Brown shared his belief in not having sex before marriage, then prompted him to talk about that belief in interviews. They used his statements, and footage of Brown having relations with other men, to it appear he was judging her.

Parker’s family tells Fox News ABC will air a special in which Brown attacks him for his Christian beliefs and “tells Luke that he is the embodiment of toxic masculinity and that is who he is to the core.”
