Engel is already facing a primary challenge from the Ocasio-Cortez allied group, Justice Democrats.
He was highly critical of Omar’s antisemitism and more recently criticized the BDS movement as a “cancer.”
“I think the BDS movement is harmful, and anyone that promotes it is making a big mistake,” he confided to the press.
