The party of Jim Crow is at it again, after liberals at a New York City “Impeach Trump” rally taunted a black reporter with screams of “go back to Kenya” and calls for him to “pick cotton.”
Lawrence Jones, covering the event for Fox News, was the target of the racist slurs.
The Washington Examiner reports:
Two anti-Trump demonstrators made racist comments to an African American Fox News contributor while he was covering an impeachment protest in New York.
The editor-in-chief of Campus Reform, 26-year-old Lawrence Jones, was interviewing people at an event promoting President Trump’s impeachment when two attendees began directing racist comments toward him.
One of the men reportedly told Jones that he should go back to Fox News “where there’s more cotton for you to pick.” When the man was asked to clarify what he just said, he reiterated the racist remark, according to the producer.
Although that interaction was not caught on film, cameras did pick up one of the men telling Jones, “He’ll tell you to go back to Kenya next.”
The racist slurs come as videos and reports of violence against Trump supporters, pro-life activists, black conservatives and other right-of-center people are appearing on an almost daily basis.
Even the liberal media admit hate crimes are exploding in liberal areas of the country.
“As of June 2, there had been 184 hate crimes reported in the city so far this year, a 64 percent increase over the same period in 2018, they said. The increase is being propelled largely by anti-Semitic incidents, which were up 90 percent,” The New York Times reports.
The Times admitted so-called “far-right” groups are not behind the incidents, which largely target Jews — a favorite target of liberal extremists.
“There have been 110 anti-Semitic crimes reported so far this year, compared to 58 at the same time last year. In some of New York’s Orthodox Jewish enclaves, anti-Semitic assaults, slurs and swastika graffiti have grown so common that people are at risk of becoming numb to them, community leaders said,” the Times reports.
Liberal enclaves nationwide are seeing an explosion of violence.
“In 2018, Los Angeles recorded its highest level of hate crimes in a decade. Washington D.C. logged 205 hate crimes, nearly double from two years earlier, and Chicago saw hate crimes rise by 26 percent in 2018, according to an analysis by the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino,” the Times reports.
