Iran recently escalated tensions with the United States by shooting down an RQ-4A Global Hawk drone that was reportedly in international airspace.
President Trump tweeted at the Iranian regime about the unprovoked attacked and it instantly became a national story – not the fact that the leading state sponsor of terrorism shot down a US Navy drone but the President’s tweet.
The tweets about this incident (outrageously blaming Trump in the most hyperbolic terms) are as unhinged as the supposedly objective journalists covering them
