A gunman is reportedly in custody in downtown Dallas, after opening fire at a federal courthouse.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the shooting, closing down the surrounding streets.
Details are scant so far. There is no word for now on any casualties.

UPDATE: The alleged gunman, a 22-year-old man, died after being shot in a volley of gunfire with security outside the Earle Cabell Federal Building.
Fearing the suspected shooter’s car was laden with explosives, police then conducted a controlled detonation with a device placed on his trunk.
