The United Kingdom’s “Guardian” newspaper, one of the world’s leading sources of news, issued new guidelines to reporters ordering them to begin using leftist propaganda when reporting on climate, citing a speech by a teenager with no scientific education.

“According to an internal email the British newspaper — a proud bastion of liberalism — contends ‘climate change’ sounds ‘rather passive and gentle when what scientists are talking about is a catastrophe for humanity,'” The Washington Examiner reports.

“Rather than ‘climate skeptic,’ terms like ‘climate denier’ or ‘climate science denier’ should be used,” the Examiner reports.

The environmentalist lobby adopted the term “denier” as a means of comparing their opponents to neo-Nazi Holocaust deniers. It will now be used as an official term by a mainstream media outlet.

“Instead of ‘climate change’ the preferred terms are ‘climate emergency, crisis or breakdown,'” the Guardian writes in a letter to readers.

By referring to the climate as an “emergency, crisis or breakdown,” any change in the weather can be presented as a case against capitalism, as can no change whatsoever.

Rising temperatures, falling temperatures or the lack of change in temperature can all be reported as being caused by the same thing.

“Increasingly, climate scientists and organisations from the UN to the Met Office are changing their terminology, and using stronger language to describe the situation we’re in,” the Guardian writes.

The paper did not note that activists are using “stronger language” because their predictions are always proven false, and increasingly outlandish claims are a hallmark of scams and hoaxes.

The paper also did not note that as a journalistic outlet, they’re not supposed to campaign for or against one side of a story actively.

They cited a speech by activist Greta Thunberg as a significant reason why they are changing their reporting.

“It’s 2019. Can we all now call it what it is: climate breakdown, climate crisis, climate emergency, ecological breakdown, ecological crisis, and ecological emergency?,” they quote Thunberg as saying, without noting she is only 15 years old, has no scientific training and was simply repeating what professional activists told her to say.

The Guardian’s reporting on climate has a history of being radical and uninformed, according to climate movement expert Steve Goddard.

In the winter of 2004 the paper reported Britain would be “plunged into a Siberian climate in 20 years,” while reporting it would be baked in record global warming in other stories, Goddard notes.

Goddard also points out the paper has spent the last seven years reporting the U.K. is in “permanent drought,” despite the lack of drought.
