Jemele Hill, a writer at The Atlantic and a former anchor at ESPN tweeted that instead of shouting “whose mans is this” as one tweet suggested in a grammatically incorrect slight to President Donald Trump that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) should’ve violated decorum shouting “GETCHO HAND OUT MY POCKET.”

Hill has since deleted her tweet, undoubtedly because of the phrase’s infamous origins. (Mediaite)
 

“GETCHO HAND OUT MY POCKET” is a reference to the assassination of Malcolm X by three Nation of Islam members in 1965. The phrase was shouted just before he was killed with a double-barrel shotgun and a handguns.
