In a sign of disapproval from one of President Trump’s most ardent defenders, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham criticized the president for mocking Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Twitter. (Mediaite)
While Ingraham typically promotes coverage that strongly favors the president, his decision to publicly blast the congressman as “little Adam Schitt” last Sunday was a step too far, she said.
“My view is being tough — that’s great, we all love a tough, strong president,” Ingraham noted in her Monday night broadcast. “But you don’t have to ridicule Adam Schiff’s name. There’s plenty about Adam Schiff you can take issue with substantively…that’s just an unforced error. There’s no reason you have to do that.”
Ingraham felt that the commander in chief’s bullying was a distraction from his administration’s accomplishments.
“I’m not going to harp on it but…it detracts from all the progress, economic progress and the stuff he’s doing that’s good stuff,” she said. “There’s no reason for it. I know it’s tempting and we all get in that mode, and I’ve done it, too, but…he’s not advancing his own cause into the areas of the country among women and minorities in my view on that.”

I THOROUGHLY AGREE with LAURA! We need Trump to act the part, HONOR THE INTEGRITY OF THE OFFICE….just as SO MANY ARE NOT!! They are constantly being recognized and criticized for such trivial elementary rhetoric, and yet HE STOOPS TO THEIR LOW AS WELL!!
I do not blame President Trump for being angry, frustrated with all the dissention that he receives!! I just expect him to RISE ABOVE THAT, as he has been doing, and ACT THE ROLE THAT HE HAS!!!! LAURA is right..that kind of action just pulls from all the great things he has accomplished! And I as well do and have made those type of comments….I am just not the Leader of the Free World….THIS WAS UNCALLED FOR! We, ??US??, expect better!!!!

I agree with A. Poland ….Trump reacts to the baiting of the liberals by constantly taking their bait..I don’t want him to be like GW Bush who had that dumb ‘deer in the headlights’ look when the media often attacked him….but on the other hand…Trump responds to every criticism like a child….name calling etc…I will still vote for Trump because his policies are the best for America (and Biden is a sell out to China and a panderer to every group….not to mention nearly as CORRUPT as the Clinton’s)….I just afraid that Trump may be tweeting and talking his way right out of office….
