Last night, Kyrsten Sinema became the first Democrat to win a Senate race in Arizona in 30 years.
Sinema defeated Republican Rep. Martha McSally, the first female fighter pilot to see combat, by 1.5 percentage points.
Sinema’s surprising victory comes despite her days as a radical anti-war activist depicting U.S. soldiers as ghoulish demons and declaring she didn’t care if Americans joined the Taliban.
While most Republicans are horrified at least one – retiring Senator Jeff Flake (Ariz.) – thinks she’ll be great!
Congratulations to @kyrstensinema on a race well run, and won. It’s been a wonderful honor representing Arizona in the Senate. You’ll be great.

Flake may have publicly embodied the spirit of RINOs, but he did vote for both of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominees.
Sinema certainly won’t.
