Stormy Daniel’s attorney Michael Avenatti’s hardball tactics seem to have backfired.
The Senate committee’s chief counsel issued a curt response to Avenatti’s plea to respond to Julie Swetnick’s unsubstantiated claims – undermined by disturbing reports from her past.

Avenatti sanctimoniously told counsel Mike Davis, “Stop playing games. If you are the Chief Counsel, then you need to do your job. Please respond to our requests.”
To which Davis replied:
“We have already reviewed your client’s allegations. We focus on credible allegations. Please stop emailing me.
“Thank you,
“Mike Davis.”
