Despite their claims President Trump has somehow inspired misogyny against women, the latest predator outed by the #MeToo movement is yet another liberal Hollywood Democrat.
Les Moonves, the powerful president of CBS, was accused last week by several women of sexual assault and harassment. He was quickly fired by the network.
“In a report by Ronan Farrow published Sunday morning by The New Yorker, the women describe in detail several disturbing instances that span nearly 15 years. The claims come six weeks after Farrow first published allegations against Moonves by six other women,” CBS News itself reports.
“CNN and other news outlets reported Sunday that Moonves has reached a settlement with CBS and will step down from the company by Monday morning. Sources familiar with the matter tell CBS News that Moonves’ settlement package will be withheld pending the results of an ongoing independent investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct,” CBS reports.
“The new allegations include forced kissing, forced oral sex, unwanted advances and physical abuse. Some of the women say their careers suffered after they rebuffed Moonves’ advances,” CBS reports.
Like nearly every other powerful sexual predator outed before him, Moonves was an active and prolific Democrat donor.
Moonves has donated $85,500 to federal candidates or PACS since 1986. Only $2,880 of it went to Republicans. A total of $40,000 went to the corporate PACs of CBS, Warner Brothers, and Lorimar Television, which primarily benefitted Democrats.
Most of Moonves’ cash went directly to Democrats, $31,150 in all. Mooves donated to radical a and powerful liberals like Bernie Sanders, Ted Kennedy, and Al Gore.
Moonves recently gave $2,700, the maximum allowed by law, on Nov. 28, 2017, to the congressional campaign of Democrat Rufus Gifford, who was Barack Obama’s campaign finance director and Ambassador to Denmark.
Moonves went so far as to openly admit CBS News was biased against conservatives. “(J)ournalism has changed … partisanship is very much a part of journalism now,” Moonves boasted to a 2012 Obama fundraising dinner.
