“Based on a request from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigation Division, is conducting an investigation into sexual assault allegations against Dennis Hof,” according to a DPS statement.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information can be provided at this time.”
The brothel owner, whose legal sex houses were profiled in the HBO show “Cathouse,” has previously been accused of sexual assault by former prostitutes in 2005, 2009 and 2011.
No charges were ever filed against Hof.
Hof categorically denies any allegations of misconduct, arguing that they’re politically motivated.
The reality TV star faces Democrat Lesia Romanov to represent the Nevada district.
