Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee and the frontrunner for Minnesota Attorney General fleed from his event after investigative journalist Laura Loomer confronted him about domestic abuse allegations brought by two women. (WorldNetDaily)
Loomer pressed Ellison about a 2005 police report filed by Amy Alexander, a Democratic activist, reported the Gateway Pundit blog.
Loomer apparently had the police report in hand on Saturday as she followed Ellison, continually asking him to explain the claims in the document in light of his denials.
The congressman did not respond to Loomer and instead headed to his car and was driven away, despite a brief attempt by Loomer to block his exit.
On Aug. 11, a woman named Karen Monahan accused Ellison of being physically and verbally abusive towards her. Ellison denied that claim as well, but Monahan responded, “You know you did that to me.”
Ellison is well-known for his uncompromising, far-left views – including support for Hamas-affiliated advocacy groups and the censoring of books targeted by the ideologue-driven Southern Poverty Law Center.
