Disgraced White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman recently kicked off a publicity tour to promote her notoriously unreliable anti-Trump book. However, her attempt at fame could leave her behind bars. (BizPac Review)
Omarosa, who’s promoting her anti-Trump tell-all book, bragged about sneaking a recording device into the White House Situation Room in defiance of strict rules banning such actions due to national security concerns.
“There is likely a technical crime or two that’s been committed here,” former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance told MSNBC. “Obviously, prosecutors don’t choose to prosecute every technical crime that’s been committed, but she probably should get herself a lawyer and be in consultation.”
Press secretary Sarah Sanders blasted Omarosa for breaking WH protocol and endangering national security by secretly recording chief of staff John Kelly when he fired her in December 2017.
“The very idea that a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room shows a blatant disregard for our national security,” WH press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. “And then to brag about it on national television further proves the lack of character and integrity of this disgruntled former White House employee.”
The reality of escalating petty grudges to the point of endangering America’s national security has even turned Trump-hating leftists against the former reality TV villain.
Omarosa! I hear you mentioned me on Meet The Press. Don’t reference me or use my name. Keep my name out of your mouth. You have done enough. Your lies and crazy behavior are catching up to you. Can you say National Security breach? Lawyer up!
