Is this court case the end for Alex Jones?

The controversial radio show host is now being sued by no less than six Sandy Hook victims’ families as well as a first responder for saying without a scintilla of evidence that the 2012 mass murder of 20 first-graders was a hoax perpetrated by the government.

Leonard Pozner, one of the plaintiffs, who’s six-year-old died – said besides the inconsolable grief of losing a son, his family suffered threats and harassment after Jones’ claims.

The lawsuit seeks undisclosed monetary and punitive damages. The New York Times reports:

“He knew his claims were false but he made them anyway to further a simple but pathetic goal: to make money by tearing away at the families’ pain,” said Josh Koskoff, a lawyer fielding the Connecticut lawsuit.

Jones, in a video last month, said the Sandy Hook shooting “really happened” but that families were being used by the Democratic Party as well as news outlets and that the lawsuits would be dismissed.

The Sandy Hook-related lawsuits aren’t the only threats for Jones who’s also being sued for defamation by a survivor of the Charlottesville, Virginia riot.
