A rental van plowed into a crowded sidewalk in Toronto earlier today in a possible terrorist attack.
The Toronto Police Service report that the van mounted the curb at the busy intersection of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue. Preliminary estimates suggest the driver hit eight to 10 people. The extent of their injuries – and whether or not there are any fatalities – remains unknown.
The suspect is reportedly in police custody.

Fox News is reporting additional information. According to numerous eyewitnesses – including Global News journalist Jeremy Cohn – there were “bodies all over,” and multiple people have been pronounced dead.
