Texas police have just released shocking dashcam video showing the moment police narrowly escaped a fiery house explosion.

The video, originally posted on Facebook on Wednesday shows Hurst Police Department arriving on the scene on April 7 after receiving a report of a person trapped in a bedroom after an SUV crashed into the home.

According to the Hurst Police account, “Several officers from the Hurst Police Department arrived on scene at the same time, and as they were walking up to the residence to assist, the house suddenly exploded in a massive fireball, which lifted the roof from the structure and blew out most of the back wall.”

Despite the intensity of the explosion, the officers involved suffered only minor injuries. The family trapped inside, though, was not as lucky.
